EASE
IN ACQUISITION—7
Exactly
as common as your local dollar store.
APPEARANCE/PRESENTATION—6
Blue
tribal pseudosunburst, aluminum background…not much more to it. It’s pretty dang bland.
TASTE—6.5
Power
Sugar Free has the same grape-ish flavor as its sucrose-heavy counterpart, and
as anticipated, it is significantly less syrupy as a result. It’s passable, if anything but
remarkable, and I had a much easier time getting/keeping it down than the
original.
KICK
(INTENSITY)—8
Above
average (enough to make me jittery, if not completely wired), but for 200 mg of
caffeine, I’ve experienced better.
KICK
(DURATION)—8
Got
between 3½ and 4 hours out of this before the last little bit of efficacy faded
away, which I found to be plenty satisfactory.
THE
DRINK OVERALL—7.5
You
know, when it comes right down to it, this is just cheap energy. There are plenty of drinks like that
out there, so to me this is just another can in my collection. If cheap energy is all you’re looking
for, then here’s another for ya, but then again, if that’s all you’re after you
probably wouldn’t have taken the time to read the review. In any case, it’ll work, but as for
myself, I’ll keep paying a bit extra for something that I can really
enjoy/appreciate.
